I am a licensed APRN ,PMHNP with training in both general medicine and psychiatry, offering a comprehensive and integrative approach to patient care. My background allows me to understand the close connection between physical health and mental well-being, and I strive to treat each patient as a whole person rather than focusing on isolated symptoms.
I completed my medical training in general medicine and later specialized in psychiatry, gaining experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of medical and mental health conditions. My clinical approach combines evidence-based treatments with a compassionate, patient-centered perspective.
About Me & Teluxe Wellness
Welcome to Teluxe Wellness—I’m truly glad you’re here.
My name is Ingrid Telasco Maurisseau, and I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with over 10 years of nursing experience. My career has been devoted to caring for individuals across the lifespan, and I am passionate about making mental health care warm, accessible, and genuinely supportive.
Professional Background
I received my Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) degree from Barry University, where I built a strong foundation in holistic, whole-person care. I later completed my advanced psychiatric training at Wilkes University, earning my PMHNP certification. This dual background allows me to understand the powerful connections between physical and mental health and to provide thoughtful, well-rounded treatment.

This is a telehealth practice. As a personal choice, the use of narcotics or other controlled (DEA) meds are minimal, if any. I've been a psych nurse practitioner for at least 14yrs. I believe in managing conditions with psychiatric and non-psychiatric treatment modalities that are evidence based. The use of the least amount of meds, at lower doses that does the healing of symptoms, is an active process involving the client and based on the reported experiences. Safety is the core of my practice and my job is to help clients understand internal signals and how to prevent another crisis.
