Originally from Austria, I moved to the United States in 2017 on a full athletic scholarship for cross-country and track. Prior to beginning my journey in America, I competed as a professional triathlete for several years. I initially studied Psychology and Sports at the University of Vienna before earning two Bachelor's degrees in Kentucky, followed by a Master’s degree and a Doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology in Orange County, California.
I have been in mental health since 2014 and in general healthcare since 1993. I enjoy working with clients of all ages. The clients that tend to gravitate towards my practice are female-presenting, neurodivergent, and families with children with behavioral challenges. I have a vast experience/knowledge base in mental health having worked in community agencies, private practice, school therapy (specifically IEP-related therapy), court- and CPS-involved cases, running groups, and working both on adolescent and adult psychiatric inpatient units. I offer a complementary brief meet and greet before scheduling the first appointment so my clients/families can ask me questions and see if my practice is a good fit for them. I also have a trauma treatment background with certification - trauma comes up in a lot of my work with clients even if that is not what led to starting therapy.
I work with young adults, adults, and couples, especially with anxiety, depression, grief, or trauma symptoms. Our sessions focus on your experiences and can include family exploration, humor, movement, and building small, positive change. We may spend time exploring thought patterns. Our direction will be based on your needs. I'm licensed in CA and have additional training in attachment and trauma-informed therapy
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience in trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and long-term psychotherapy. I work primarily with adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, identity concerns, and the lasting impact of trauma.
My professional background includes service in military and veteran-support settings, as well as work in community mental health, medical and hospital-based environments, and outpatient therapy. This breadth of experience allows me to support clients across a wide range of life circumstances—from acute stress and major transitions to deeper, long-term personal growth.
My practice is grounded in a collaborative, nonjudgmental approach that integrates evidence-based and relational therapies. I believe therapy works best when clients feel supported, understood, and appropriately challenged, with the goal of not just symptom relief, but meaningful, lasting change in how clients relate to themselves and others.
I am a bilingual (English and Spanish) licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 15 years of experience working with youth, families, and adults in areas such as trauma, grief, anxiety, and depression. My work is also informed by training in EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Narrative Therapy, allowing the therapeutic process to adapt to each client’s unique needs and story.
I hold a Master’s degree in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies, where I was trained to integrate contemporary therapeutic methods with spiritual and existential perspectives.
Hi, and welcome! I am happy you are here to explore my offerings and a return to your wellbeing. A bit about me:
I am a board-certified, doctorally prepared Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 17 years of experience spanning acute care, crisis response, psychiatric nursing, and public health. I offer integrative psychiatric care that blends evidence-based medicine with holistic, trauma-informed approaches. I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults navigating depression, anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, trauma, grief, life transitions, and healthcare-related burnout.
Our work together will feel collaborative, grounded, and deeply respectful of your story. You can expect a therapeutic relationship rooted in listening, presence, and curiosity—where your values and goals shape the course of treatment. I aim to create a safe space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to heal and thrive.
Outside of work, I love being active in nature, dancing, traveling, cooking, and spending time with my friends, family, and my beloved dog.
