Feeling burnt out, unfulfilled, uninspired, and/or just not good? Looking for a holistic approach to therapy that will allow you to get back on your feet again and live a life you can be fully present for? Are you struggling with chronic stress, anxiety, and depression? Are past traumas and unhelpful patterns showing up in your jobs, relationships and other areas of your life? Let's work together to create a plan for you to be able to navigate your unique circumstances. Now offering business coaching to navigate hurdles that show up as a business owner.
I provide trauma-informed person-centered therapy. Additionally the modalities I like to work with are EMDR, IFS, existential, the use of mindfulness, somatic and transcendental therapy (ketamine assisted psychotherapy). Whatever your therapeutic goal is, let's work together to determine what will be most helpful to you.
I will listen to your story and provide a space for you to process heavy emotions, trauma, grief, and other challenges that may come up. I understand that traditional talk therapy can feel scary, intimidating, and/or unknown if you haven't experienced it which is why I offer other options. Reach out and let's discuss your goals and what works best for you!
As a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, my background spans decades in high-intensity environments, including service as a critical-care helicopter and fixed-wing flight nurse/paramedic, an officer in the United States Air Force Reserves, and an
entrepreneur. My career has been shaped in spaces where calm leadership, accountability, and compassion are essential—not optional.
I work with adults and adolescents, including first responders, veterans, entrepreneurs,
and individuals navigating complex or generational trauma. I am trained in EMDR and
use a trauma-informed approach to help clients process difficult experiences while reconnecting with clarity, resilience, and direction. I also have training in psychedelic- assisted therapies, with a focused interest in ketamine-assisted therapy and psilocybin-assisted approaches, and I am a licensed facilitator-in-training in the State of Colorado.
I am a husband and father of five, including two children with special needs (one visually impaired and one neurodivergent), and a grandfather of two. My wife is a trauma-informed yoga teacher specializing in complex trauma, and our shared perspective reflects a deep respect for both the psychological and physiological aspects
of healing.
I went to Naropa University in Boulder, CO, receiving my masters in Contemplative Psychotherapy and Buddhist Psychology. So, I see psychological growth through a Buddhist lens. It’s possible to summarize that view as the movement toward authenticity, growing through versions of self that no longer feel genuine. In Buddhism that movement often starts with samvega: the realization that grooved cycles of suffering no longer serve us. We might ask ourselves: What makes me vulnerable to such cycles? How and when were the tracks laid down? We might enter a process of self-inquiry through which we become more our authentic selves, for change takes place in the heart when we grieve harmful circumstances and the adaptations of self we made to get through. In such a movement, we are waking up out of, so it’s the energy of wakefulness that’s active in us, that returns us to authenticity. Wakefulness might be the energy motivating you now to seek out a therapist.
With all that is going on in the world and our community right now, you’ve likely been carrying a lot for a long time. You learned how to get through overwhelming experiences, and on the outside you seem strong...but inside, you feel tired and disconnected. You might not be in crisis, but you know you’re not fully at peace, either. Maybe you want to feel grounded again, or to understand yourself more deeply, or to reconnect with the parts of you that had to go quiet in order to cope. You’re ready for a slower, steadier kind of healing, and a therapist that feels safe and honors your pace.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a passion for helping individuals understand themselves on a deep level and heal from past trauma and emotional pain. I believe that therapy is a collaborative journey, and I partner with my clients to create a safe, supportive space where they can explore who they are, where they’ve been, and who they want to become.
I have experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of concerns, including addiction, anxiety, depression, postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, OCD, BPD, PTSD, psychosis, and schizophrenia. My work is rooted in a genuine desire to help people not only heal, but truly thrive and come into alignment with their true selves.
In addition to my clinical training, I also incorporate a spiritual perspective into my work for clients who are open to it. I believe that healing can happen on many levels, including those that go beyond what we can see, and I enjoy supporting clients in exploring how spirituality can be part of their growth and transformation.
