Welcome! I'm so glad you're here.
My name is Lexie, and I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). I founded Still Waters Psychiatric Mental Health, LLC with a passion for helping individuals and families find peace, healing, and hope through evidence-based psychiatric care and compassionate therapy.
I provide both therapy and medication management with a strong emphasis on a holistic, client-centered approach. I specialize in working with children (ages 6–17), young adults (18–35), and pregnant/postpartum mothers—offering support through challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, mood disorders, and perinatal mental health concerns.
My training has equipped me to treat the whole person while honoring each individual's story, values, and cultural background. I use a range of therapeutic techniques, including trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and supportive psychotherapy, and I always aim to create a safe, trusting space where you feel heard and empowered.
Whether you're seeking support for your child, navigating young adulthood, or facing the emotional complexities of motherhood, I’m here to walk with you.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. My work is grounded in evidence-based therapies that I tailor to each person’s needs. I draw on both evidence-based practices and my own experience as a veteran to help clients process emotional wounds, strengthen resilience, and rebuild confidence from the inside out.
I’m especially passionate about working with those facing military-related stressors, reintegration challenges, and identity transitions, as well as women navigating seasons of growth and rediscovery.
