Hello, I'm Sarah, and I'm here to walk alongside you on your journey towards healing and happiness. With a compassionate approach rooted in my training from Sam Houston State University, I specialize in supporting individuals, teens, children, and couples through life's challenges. Together, we'll navigate the depths of trauma, anxiety, and depression, using gentle techniques like play therapy, EMDR, and Gottman Method Level 1.
I offer a compassionate, neurodiversity-affirming and LGBTQIA+ affirming space where you can show up as you are. I specialize in working with adults with ADHD and autism, including folks exploring late-in-life diagnosis, self-identification, or simply trying to understand themselves better. I’m also training in Gottman Method couples counseling and have extensive experience supporting polyamorous and ethically non-monogamous relationships, so relationship work here is inclusive, practical, and judgment-free.
Why fit in when you were born to stand out -Dr. Seuss. Often times when dealing with strong and intense emotions we have trouble communicating with the people in our lives. Together we can work through emotions that are making it hard to move forward in your life. Change is hard and together we can make make it through life's transitions whether you are dealing with the past, or gearing up for the future.
My specialties include stress, anxiety, depression, boundaries, healthy communication, and relationships. My goal is to create a safe space for you to process emotions, and take your next step in life. In a nonjudgmental space and a little humor at times we can explore emotions, and help you achieve the life you want to live.
I will work to create a safe space so that you feel confident to open up. Together we can determine your goals for counseling, and begin the process of working to reach them. If you're ready to take the next step on your journey, please contact me.
I began this journey with one clear mission: to change the way we view mental health. I’m passionate about breaking the stigma around seeking help and fostering a society where taking care of your mental health is seen as a brave and empowering step toward personal growth and well-being. As a reliable ally for anyone navigating their mental health journey, I bring years of experience working with individuals facing a wide range of challenges, from stress, anxiety, and anger management to building self-confidence, tackling depression, improving social skills, managing ADHD, and supporting defiant teens. I also specialize in emotional struggles, conflict resolution, and educational challenges, including special education, always tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs of each person.
I am a former teacher and missionary. I have been counseling since 2003. My counseling style is warm, authentic, and non-judgmental. I believe in treating everyone with respect. We can address current or unresolved issues from your past. I can also counsel from a Christian-based standpoint if preferred. I am licensed to counsel Texas residents, and my practice is via telehealth. We can meet weekly, bi-weekly or monthly.
As a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and more than 25 years of experience in mental health I offer Telehealth services for couples, individuals and families that are looking to improve their quality of life. My services are offered in English and Spanish.

With expertise in psychotherapy, neurodivergence, trauma, and vocational rehabilitation, I take a holistic and client-centered approach, tailoring each session to individual needs.
I believe in empowering clients by helping them develop self-awareness, resilience, and practical coping strategies. My work is rooted in evidence-based techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). I am especially passionate about supporting neurodivergent individuals, the LGBTQIA+ community, and those facing life transitions, trauma, or career challenges.
