

I have 16 years experience as a clinical psychologist, with 8 years experience providing tele-mental health services. I earned my PhD in 2010 from the University of Wyoming. I completed pre-doctoral internship in 2010 and post-doctoral residency in 2011 within the Department of Veterans Affairs, with a Trauma/PTSD specialty. I have been fully and independently licensed since 2012, with expertise providing evidence based care for a variety of mental health conditions.
Life is hard and sometimes scary. We all need a safe place to get support and help. I am here to walk alongside you and navigate the uncertainty.
I have a BA in sociology from The Ohio State University and a MA in Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University. I am an inclusive counselor, an LPC, in the state of Texas and a National Certified Counselor through the NBCC. I see see adolescents and adults specializing in trauma and addiction.
Not all wounds are visible, therapy is a way to heal from within. I provide support through the process of mental health wellness to address anxiety, anger, addiction, depression, work stress, relationship conflicts or adjusting to the challenges of life. Together, we will work on strategies that allow you to address the root causes of your difficulties.

Svetlana Kutikova is a LPC, who has been practicing since the Fall of 2022. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hunter College in New York City, in 2014. After four and a half years working as an ABA Therapist, she went back to school to obtain her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health, from Kean University, in New Jersey. Svetlana believes that each person is a unique individual, with a unique set of concerns.
