As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I have a passion for working with those that have experienced trauma. It's an honor to be present with such resiliency and support the journey towards healing. I worked in education for 11 years before I transitioned to the mental health field in 2017, where I started working with clients struggling with eating disorders. As an "Army Brat," I grew up traveling the world and developed a great appreciation for those with different backgrounds and cultures.
I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely seen and understood. I am thoughtful, present, and deeply interested in your story, not just your symptoms. I approach our work together with curiosity, care, and respect for who you are and where you come from.
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regis University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Metropolitan State University of Denver. I also teach and train future mental health professionals, which keeps my work grounded in strong clinical ethics, ongoing learning, and real world application.
I tend to work well with adults who are open, curious, and wanting to become more self aware, especially those who are willing to explore their inner world and engage meaningfully in the therapeutic process. Many of my clients are navigating trauma, including complex and relational trauma, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, grief, relationship challenges, identity exploration, or significant life transitions. I also work closely with high achievers and perfectionistic individuals who hold themselves to very high standards and are feeling burned out, overwhelmed, or weighed down by the pressure they carry.
Clients often describe me as attuned, warm, authentic, and curious. I am deeply present and engaged, and I bring energy and momentum to the work when it helps move things forward. I aim to create a space where you can be real without needing to explain yourself perfectly or hold everything together on your own.
Life can feel overwhelming at times. You might be juggling stress, anxiety, or relationship struggles while trying to keep everything together. Maybe you’re feeling disconnected or unsure how to move forward. You want to feel calmer, more confident, and supported — to find your footing again and reconnect with yourself in a way that feels whole and real. You deserve a place to show up just as you are — with compassion, curiosity, and support. Therapy is a space for you to be seen and to feel less alone.
My therapy style is centered on warmth, empathy, and inclusivity. Drawing from my extensive experience working with diverse populations, I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where everyone feels heard, valued, and understood. Everyone brings unique experiences, and my goal is to ensure that our work together honors your cultural, spiritual, and personal life story.
