Welcome to Brain Balance Psychiatry, an integrative psychiatric model, based on provider-client alliance. Experience a collaborative partnership where you feel supported and empowered by your provider.
I'm so happy that you are here! My name is Natalie. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Clinician (LCMHC) and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS) in the state of North Carolina. I have been in the counseling field for 13 years. I have experience working with adults with depression, anxiety , trauma and substance use disorders.
EPIR Source is built on the foundation of trust and accountability between clinician and client. We pride ourselves on providing the EPIR Experience which includes clients having a life transforming, therapeutic experience.
As a therapist, my goal is to create a space where individuals, teens, and couples feel safe, respected, and truly heard. Whether you're navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, or just trying to find a clearer path forward—therapy can be a powerful place to reconnect with yourself and your goals.
My background is in Biology, Health Promotion and Mental Health. As I approached my 30th birthday, I pledged to be free in ALL areas of my life which then spawned the journey of exploring the connection between spirituality and sexuality and I haven't looked back since!
I hold a masters degree and am a licensed mental health counselor. I also hold a hefty life school certification. I am a nerd. I am an artist. That combination is pretty cool and useful in relating to you as a person and not a collection of problems to be fixed.

As a Maternal Health Professional and Lactation Consultant, I am dedicated to supporting families through pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and their infant feeding journey with evidence-based guidance and compassionate care. I combine clinical knowledge with real-life understanding to provide practical, individualized support that meets each family where they are.
As a mother of two boys, I bring both professional expertise and personal experience to my work. I understand firsthand the physical, emotional, and logistical challenges that can arise during the transition to motherhood. This dual perspective allows me to offer care that is not only informed and strategic, but also empathetic and realistic.
I approach mental health from a unique perspective: the intersection of human biology and systems theory. My career began as an Exercise Physiologist, where I worked in Cardiac Rehabilitation. I realized early on that you cannot effectively treat the mind if you ignore the body’s most fundamental systems—specifically, how we rest and how we move.
Today, as a Certified Clinical Sleep Health professional and therapist, I specialize in Behavioral Sleep Medicine. Whether I’m working with an adult navigating burnout or a family struggling with a child’s sleep routine, my focus is on the "outside-in" approach—optimizing your environment and biology to improve your mental and emotional well-being.
Education & Clinical Training
My academic and professional foundation is built on understanding the intersection of the mind and body:
Hi there! Taking the first step is always the hardest part - I'm proud of you for doing it! Making your mental health a priority is the key to success and contentment. I have been working with members of the military and veterans for seven years now. Most recently, I have expanded my work with older adults and new mothers. I look forward to working with you!
